Trailer structures

These are some tables we used be analyse the trailer structures with.

Scream 2

I made a table of the basic trailer structure for Scream 2

Hard Candy

Farharna did the table for Hard Candy

The Trailer to Hard Candy has a similar structure and story line to our trailer, and is the one we will be analysing.

I made a table analysing the mise en scene and the ambience sound of hard candy

I did the same to a cut down version of the table for our trailer

This is a deatailed shot list that we have produced that includes all of the possible shots in the trailer.

Questionnaire

This is the questionnaire that i made, we used it to gain a better understanding of out target audieince

This is a table used to get a better idea of our target audience

We asked some people what they thought of our overall trailer, this table summarises it.

We based the table on the following:

• Story line
• Actors
• Title
• Possible fonts
• Gender

We found that the average age group of people that would like to see this film was mostly 15-25 year olds, mainly because of the age of the stars in the film and the story line.

We also found that the gender most likely to watch it were females. The main character is female so this is understandable.

It is not really a family film bcause it would not appeal to all age groups and genders, based on the story line.

This film would appeal to anyone from any country and will only be in one language so they would have to understand English.

There will be no difference in the educated and uneducated audience viewing the film.

There is a shot of a car driving to show the setting of the movie. There is also a voice over of the main character and her dad talking in the car before showing the next shot of them stopping.
















There is a shot panning towards her looking out the window to show everything is normal.

















there is then a shot showing her pick up an anonynous call which says "have you checked the chrildren?" which shows she is getting paranoid.
there is also some tence ambience music.

There is another shot of her checking up on them.

















Further on in the trailer, there are scenes witch show her trying to escape from the caller.
there music at this point is more tence, louder and faster.

At the end the titles "When a stranger calls" fade in from black with a red glow behind it.
