Synergy

The combination of these media products create a synergy that would be used to promote the film if it were to show in cinemas. The posters would be put in public places such as bus stops or bill boards. The magazines would be sold in news agents and book shops. And the trailer would be shown on TV and in Cinemas overall creating a synergy between them rather than just having a trailer itself. The media products also create a theme between them, making the film more recognizable. The colour schemes of our posters creates a theme between then. This would let the audience know that they are all part of the same campaign
Mise en scene-Costume

Because one of my roles was Mise en scene, I was looking at costume, after we looked at the hard Candy trailer, I noticed that Jeff, usually wore something formal like a suit. Hayley normally wore something that was feminine. I took these conventions and incorporated them into our trailer

I made Chirag wear a suit, this made him look professional and also made him look slightly mysterious. I think that a formal look looks far better for his role than an informal.

I made Diana wear something feminine. I exaggerated this convention from Hard Candy and tried to make her look more feminine by having a coat, hat and pink bag.I created juxtaposition between innocent and evil. By Diana wearing something feminine, she is perceived to be innocent but she has another side to her that Chirag is unaware of.

Making the poster

Here are some screen shots of my magazine cover in making progress

This is my finished magazine cover, after i added some key features like the puff for example.

I made the barcode in paint because was the easiest way of doing it.

Making my magazine

I based my movie magazine on the magazine that I analysed, Premeire. I took these conventions and made my own one from them.
